New criteria for Associate Membership, Membership and Fellowship launched by FSEM - effective date 23rd September 2016
Membership & Fellowship
All Fellowship & Membership applications shall be considered by the Faculty Board throughout the year, on a quarterly basis.
Applications approved by the FSEM Board at its meetings in November & February will be put forward to the July Conferring Ceremony, and applications approved in May & September will be put forward to the December Conferring Ceremony.
All Associate Membership applications shall be considered by the Faculty Officers throughout the year, on a quarterly basis.
Applications approved by the FSEM Faculty Officers by 31st July each year will be put forward to the September Conferring Ceremony, during the Annual Scientific Conference.
Please note that there is only one Associate Membership conferring per year; applications approved after the summer cut off point will be automatically deferred to the September conferring ceremony the following year.
Annual Subscriptions - Members and Fellows In Good Standing
Under Standing Order 6.3 "Fellows and Members ... are required to pay an annual subscription to the funds of the Faculty. The amount of the subscription shall be determined by the Board".
The fees are requested annually, and the current list of Paid-Up Fellows and Paid-Up Members is up-dated throughout the year on the website. The subscription year now runs from 1st May to 30th April, in line with the PCS year.
